June 4, 201313 yr First they changed my battery. 700b. Bike was fine. Next day same thing happened. Looked further into it and they said they needed the stator, plus engine oil and oil gasket (iirc), 2700b. Hardly exspensive and good to get things replaced.

I watched them check the voltage with the engine running, so hopefully it will be ok. I tried to get them to test the battery while the terminals were on and bike off to see if there was any current draw. But - mai kow jai... Anyway, you have to stick a resistor on the positive terminal, then use a meter and measure across it (one lead on each end of resistor) if anything shows, divide that number by the value of the resistor and you have the current draw.
