Documents translation for Partner Migration

Featured Replies

Does anybody know which Thai documents need to be translated into English when applying for a Partner Migration Visa. My Thai wife has the following Thai documents.

A certified copy of her birth certificate from her Amphur in Bangkok.

An original change of name certificate, after her divorce from her Thai husband in 2002.

Her original divorce cetificate.

An original certiticate stating the reasons for her divorce.

The death certificate of her father (died 2011)

The death certificate of her mother (died 2000)

The House book (Tabien Baan) of my condominium with her name listed in it since 2007, including the details when she moved from her parents house in Bangkok to my condominium.

She has no other Thai documents. Are there any other documents she should have when applying for a Partner visa? We would like to apply for a partner visa as we have been living together in a de facto relationship for an uninterrupted and continous three years.

Can anyone recommend a good and authorized translation servive and tell us how long it might take to have the documents translated? We would like to prepare as much information for a partner visa as possible, should we decide to go that way after our return from Australia next October.

We will be leaving for our trip to Oz on 31 July and wonder if there is sufficient time to prepare some of the documentation before we fly out.

There is also the matter of the Embassy changing the dates on the bottom of the application forms for visas three times a year. I know they changed the dates on previous forms in April and in November and I am not sure about the third (July?). I guess there is a strict requirement to use the latest available visa application form.

Thanks in advance for any information.
