Hi all,

We have our regular monthly weekend sailing this weekend (10th & 11th July) at Ocean Marina. If anyone wants to go sailing, come down here by 9.30am, and I can help you find a crew spot. There are always plenty of boats looking for eager and willing crew.

I am the race officer on Saturday, so if any of the trusty helpers from Top of the Gulf Regatta feel like a day out on the water, then you are more than welcome to come along. It is not as big as TOG but still plenty of fun.

Ocean Marina is only 10 to 15 minutes from Pattaya, on the right hand side of Sukhumvit Road, as you head towards Sattahip. Located at the 157km marking just a few door up from the Ambassador. Plenty of parking or easiy to hop off the white Songtiew and walk in.

I also need to pull the finger out and organise another drinks night, as I missed the one on the 5th June, and saw that there was far too much fun had. Stay tuned and I will get there!

Mcyachty is the harbor master at Ocean Marina. Super guy. Send him a PM and he'll respond promptly. If not, let me know and I'll pass along his email address. Here's another post he did recently:

You might also want to check with Royal Varuna. I don't know what type of program they have, but they are here in Pattaya also:

Don't know about these guys, but they've said they help with crew placement:

Hi all,

Sorry for the slow reply but have had a heap on my plate lately.

Next Thursday, 8th August is a race / cruise over to Hua Hin. The plans are a bit vague but the guys organizing it plan to leave Ocean Marina Yacht Club early. Trip will probably take 8 to 10 hours depending on sea state and wind. Lately wind has been good.

Boats will stay Hua Hin till Sunday or Monday so if you can't crew for the 4 or 5 days you will has to make your own way back. Bus or the mrs.

The other question was notice board. Yes we do have a notice board and you are welcome to put something up on it.

Again, sorry for the tardy reply but have had a couple of "those" weeks.
