Red Lentils

Featured Replies

Does anyone know where I can get red lentils in Bangkok? Green and brown ones are readily available, but the usual suspects (TOPS, Villa, Gourmet Market) don't seem to have the red ones.

Thanks

In Chiang Mai I get them at Rimping. I don't know if you have that chain in BKK. But they are a lot more expensive than other types of lentils and beans. Mung Beans don't make a bad Dhal either, if that is what you are making and they are easy to get and cheap.

Makro is the best for a selection of lentils and pulses. The yellow split peas make good dal too.

Peng Lee store in Asoke market stock them.
