Run For The Hills

As global warming stories make big headlines once again and scientists comfort us with predictions of rising sea levels, it would seem that buying a house in Bangkok is not the best idea in the world. Perhaps a villa in Mae Hong Son would be best.

Some natural disasters - such as tsunamis and earthquakes - are very rare and only strike locally ...

It's about 30 years ago the scientists first started talking about global heating, caused by CFC-gasses preventing solar-generated heat escaping from planet Earth to outer space ... They said (30 years ago), that it was already too late - the CFC-gasses already released from spray-cans, etc. at that time would take about fifty years to reach the outer atmosphere, where they'd do the most harm. It seems to me, that there are quite many "proofs", that they were'nt totaly wrong

Having still 30-40 years to go in this lifetime - no way I'd settle in the flatlands.

Moving south might encounter tsunami and going north might face earthquake. Disaster could happen anywhere.
Moving Northeast is an even worse disaster ,you could encounter all the aussie cricket experts lurkin up there :D:o Nignoy
