giggles
is there a market for sales of good wigs to bald farangs who have never ever considered a wig? its an untapped market imo. labour is cheap for making good wigs with human hair . Somchai Mao
Isn't out and proud bald/shaved the current de rigueuer look in Thailand for farang? Preferably with a "humorous" tattoo emblazoned on said bonce.

giggles
we have all seen the guys with failed implants which leaves them with punch marks on their bonce where the follicles failed to take root. so a wig with human hair would be an improvement for them. wolf5370
I think they are of less import here. In the west most women would not look twice at a baldie (or that's how the Kojak feels), but here in LOS many of these guys are hunting in the gutters and bars where the babes look no higher than the wallet. I know one guy that is a regular visitor rather than an expat, but he is well into his 80's and wears a dark haired wig - the stark difference to his very pail skin and lack of neck fur makes it impossible not to see it is a syrup. Having said that, there are some very good syrups these days, expensive fitted ones (seen them in the UK - place near Harrods I think, perhaps Bond St) most under 60s would not look fake - they even had salt and pepper and grey wigs for older gentlemen (much better than black or chestnut). prestburypark
When I stayed in France years ago..(the 90's) I was agog at the brazen syrups on display, pure nylon and shameless with a serious join line. Fascinating to behold. Not spotted one in Los but then not expecting or really looking. If you go to France though it is good sport to spot the syrup.

NeverSure
Who needs a wig or dye? I lucked out with family genes. My mother passed away over the age of 90 without even any gray hair. I haven't lost any hair that I know of.

I haven't lost any hair that I know of. No but you seem to have lost your feature Mercury in the skin whitener? I believe male pattern boldness carries down the maternal line - so your mother's dad would be the one to look at. My granddad on mum's side had a full set of hair when he died mid 80's - my dad on the other hand was practically bald by 20. I'm 43 and so far so good (wouldn't say I haven't lost any to thinning - but no holes!)

ThaidDown
Forget about the wigs, if you're bald just have lots of rabbits tattooed on your bald pate.. (Yes, I know it's an old one, that's why I did not finish it.)

Being bald is a sign of virility in the West! Why anyone would want to disguise that fact and put the ladies off with a wig is beyond me. Even the Thais think it's cool to be bald. eyecatcher
Only last week I was with my mate in the beer garden and as you can expect, the guys with the wigs, were actually more interesting to stare at than the bgs Hair and moustache in different colour is a giveaway but also everyone of them was sitting as far away from a ceiling fan as possible. .....which then brought about a hilarious and pissed discussion about the glue they use. vanity doesn't really matter here,in the west it does, hair loss is devastating, but here I could get a girlfriend of I had no arms and legs, was blind, and stank....just need a pocket and inside the pocket is a wallet. Come on guys lose the wig....and the jeans, you really do look ridiculous. Sent from my GT-I8160

ggold
I saw an older guy dressed like a biker with a wig he must have been in his 70's and looked really stupid with a jet black hair piece. This was in the Airport Mall CM. lol

Yes deforestation of the gentleman,s bits is an absolute must in this climate My problem is that there is no plug in the toilets (which is good news of course) and cos of the drop being spread around the house by the fans, I clip on the balcony. Luckily the balcony guard covers my to the midriff, but passers by must be wondering what I'm doing looking down, arms working and loud buzzing sound Tried the Mrs Immac once - only once (like pouring acid on my knackers!)
