EGAT today celebrates 37th anniversary, with a promise to keep caring for the country's power infrastructure

The Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand today celebrated its 37th anniversary, with a promise to maintain integrity in the country's power infrastructure regardless of its own status.

Kraisi Karnasut (ไกรสีห์ กรรณสูต), the governor of EGAT, said after chairing today's ceremony that over the past 37 years the entity held pride in its role of maintaining the country's electricity integrity.

He said despite EGAT not being able to transform into a company, its working visions remains the same over all aspects.

It would still proceed with construction of more power plants and power relay lines, in addition to expanding its works to neighboring countries, in this coming 5 years.
