I'll be transiting Doha in January - it would be nice if it's open, but I have my doubts. I'm just back from a job in Qatar. The airport is a mess due to the ongoing construction. Long, long bus rides to switch between terminals and the new airport seems to need a year more, or what ever they think what is "soon". Seeb Airport is small, very clean easy to navigate and above all friendly staff which is a rarity in the other Gulf states. Just my humble opinion.
