That's the REAL issue here: who runs Thailand? The elected government or the myriad QANGO's established under constitution railroaded through by the military backed, unelected Sulayut government

Absolutely. The 1999 constitution had been agreed on by all parties after sober (well, you know what I mean) reflection. The 2007 constitution was rushed through and effectively had one myopic aim: Stop Thaksin. It failed even in this regard.

Sae Deang was killed on Thaksins orders as he had become a liability by exposing Thaksin as the one behind the riots.

Sae Deang was doing a great job for the army and the Govt at the time he was killed as he was destabilizing the red leadership by saying Thaksin had sacked them all and put him (Sae Daeng in charge of the riots.

He was the only one who could identify the men in black so he had to go.
