Question regarding Business Visa extention and more

Featured Replies

I have a one year Business Visa.

With this visa, next year I will have to fly back to my country to apply again and I have to leave and come back every 90 days.

I know that I would have to work together with a Thai business or company in order to remain here for the full 1 year and not have to leave every 90 days as well to extend the visa in Thailand and not have to fly back to my country and apply again at the end of this one year visa.

My work is in fact internet based. Still, to avoid these extra trips I wonder if people in a similar situation have created some kind of business which all have invested in (perhaps with a Thai company to support it) and use it to cover for the 90 day trips and also have the ability to re-apply at the end of the year once already here.

Does something like this exist?

Any suggestions would be great.

Thank you.

So you are working in Thailand ?

You would have to set up a Thai limited company and have 4 Thai employees to get a work permit and extension of stay. But you would not get the extension for almost 2 years because of the requirement for a years tax records to get it. Which would mean you would still need to leave every 90 days for that long.

Thank you very much for this information.

Do you happen to know how to set up a Thai Limited Company or do you have suggested links?

Again, your information is very much appreciated.
