webfact Posted December 19, 2013 Share Posted December 19, 2013 Armed Mini Cooper Driver caught at Pattaya Police CheckpointPATTAYA: -- Pattaya Police set-up a checkpoint in Soi 17 off Pattaya Third Road, outside of the Eden Hotel, in the early hours of Thursday and caught suspected drug users and a man in a Mini Cooper who was in possession of a loaded 38 caliber handgun.Officers pulled over the car and its driver Khun Saranyapong aged 24. A search of the vehicle uncovered the handgun which was loaded with six bullets.At Pattaya Police Station, the suspect claimed he borrowed the car from his boss, who owns a Highway construction company.
