Suan Dusit Poll finds people do not expect Thai politics to be better

About 61% of 4,217 people surveyed by Suan Dusit Poll do not think politics and politicians can be better.

Suan Dusit Poll reported that 5.95% are bored of politics while 49.75% are interested more in politics after the Constitution Court nullified the April 2 snap election. About 47% of the samples lose faith in politicians after the court had its ruling.

The survey to gauge public opinions on the current political situation was conducted on people of all occupations in 16 provinces between May 10 and 14.

Starting to sound like the views that the western hoi polloi have of their devious governments. One would think that the Thai pollies would take a leaf out of the western pollies book & not head down the same road. :o

Dr. Kantathi: foreign countries are confused about Thailand's politics

The Foreign Affairs Minister, Dr. Kantathi Suphamongkhon (กันตธีร์ ศุภมงคล), revealed that many foreign countries are confused about the political issues in Thailand.

They said that they have never seen such political situation in other countries before.

As for the political impacts on the economy, Dr. Kantathi insisted that foreign countries are still confident on Thailand due to the stable economy in the past.

He informed that the countries will continue their projects in Thailand if the political crisis ceases.
