northend_boyz Posted February 13, 2014 Share Posted February 13, 2014 Hi, my mother is here on a tourist visa. She wants to stay 90 days. She is Canadian. Her visa expires on March 9. Does she have to make the extension on that day or can she apply beforehand? If she applies earlier does she lose days on her Stay? How early could she apply, I need to go to immigration next week.. ubonjoe Posted February 13, 2014 Share Posted February 13, 2014 The extension starts from when the 60 day entry ends. Nothing is lost by doing it early. A couple of weeks early is the norm but some offices may do it up to 30 days early. She could go with you. She will need the completed TM7 form, passport copies and TM6 departure card.
