What does anyone think about the digital D200 camera from Nikon? I have been looking for movie modes in the specs but have been unable to find anything. Is this possible?

I think SLR is designed specifically for still photography. Reflex mechanism makes it impossible to frame and compose a shot while the shutter is open and the mirror up, be it a still photography or movie. You have to have an EVF finder camera (which comes with most compact digicam) to shoot a movie if you want to shoot movie with digicam.

yes I bought one recently to replace a D70 and there is no movie mode. As a still camera it is awesome and beats the D70 hands down
