DPM: Thai Premier will not give up

BANGKOK, 26 March 2014 (NNT) – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Surapong Tovichakchaikul believes Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra would not give up politics, adding that the Premier has done nothing wrong.

Commenting on rumors of Miss Yingluck not wanting to stand in the next general election, the deputy prime minister said he had not talked to the Premier about it; however, he believed PM Yingluck would not give up politics easily, as she has done nothing but protect the country’s democracy.

He went on to say that the majority of Thais are still confident in Miss Yingluck and her cabinet, given their outstanding performances during the two-year administration.

Mr. Surapong reassured that the Premier would keep on fighting for democracy, saying without it, the international community would not recognize Thailand as a stabilized nation.

What are the achievements of this government?

The only one I can think of is the 300 baht daily wage,

Apart from that there is only failure- rice mortgage scheme, tablets for schoolkids, flood preventive measures, 2 trillion baht loan, amnesty bill.

The first thing they did was to lower the company taxes.

'will not give up politics'. Wasn't it six months or so ago that then PM Yingluck said she wanted a quiet life ? Maybe she has started to like being in the limelight.

”Mr. Surapong reassured that the Premier would keep on fighting for democracy, saying without it, the international community would not recognize Thailand as a stabilized nation.” What kind of democracy would he be referring to would it be the interpretation of democracy by the excising government! or would it be the interpretation of true democracy?

The classic example of an addictive habit by Surapong who yet again demonstrates what passes his own minds as the truth. However the reality is that Surapong is controlled by Thaksins multiple mindsets and the addiction to distorted truths, lies and corrupt practices.

The greatest fear that the Shinwatra clan have is that of the affects of ''cold turkey'' due to the cessation of the regular injections of finance from the state coffers of Thailand coupled with the prospect of a dose of the truth and its resultant affects upon them. Incarceration and the exposing of the truth.

Of course Yingluck must stay the course the alternative of facing the truth and paying the penalty is indeed too worrying for an elite person of the Shinwatra clan who is all but imprisoned by her brother in the position of caretaker Prime minister whilst he (Thaksin) is as free as a bird.

Surapong needs to make sure he is never interviewed when he visits the UK.
