Does anyone have any threads of information on this breed?

Specifically in the Khorat area.

Their temperament etc...

They were given as wedding presents, so I'm told.

Have they survived the mongrel cats' amorous advances and

survive as a legit thai pussycat?

As with many unique Thai elements.

They appear elusive.

Cheers Madsere.

I think I've visited that site.

It's the localised, Thai, knowledge of the breed.

If I speak to the locals (near Khao Yai) You get "You want a cat? There's a Cat!

If it is deemed a Hi So subject, they steer away from it.

My house is a three winged, traditional Thai style.

It is dead pretty and absolutely functional. But some locals say "Why build like that?"

Someone must have stumbled across breeders in Thailand!

I often see Siamese and Burmese cats in the larger markets, but it is my understanding they often are stolen from the streets. I know of at least two owners who recognized their own cats in the sales cage but were unable to do anything but pay up (anything from 3,000-10,000 depending)

If you want a pedigree cat in Thailand you would be advised to keep it indoor. Unfortunately.

Thanks folks.

Re- Theft.

We are out in the "Sticks". Big house, big land. Taxi drivers at night s@@t themselves, cos they think they've driven into a Wat. Trespassers will be shot. Survivors shot again!

Seriously though. All neighbours are windy of eagle eyed "Yai".

Three wings to the house.

Family everywhere.

I think they would be OK.

No one can come six feet onto our land without the dogs jumping up.

I'll get the Bush Telegraph going.

Cheers for the input. And pic.

Missus wants a German Shepherd...So that's the next bug bear!

I want English Bull Terriers...Fine f@@king chance.

If I can't find Khorat cats in Thailand...

i'll find em.

My friend is in the Thai Ambassodor's Golf Team.

Pincer movement.

Hi So and Lo So expeditionary forces will be briefed.

Cheers
