Are children still exempt from the overstay rules?

Hi,

 

As usual at Christmas and New Year we will have an extended stay in Thailand. My 13 year old daughter (Australian passport) will stay in Thailand for just over 7 weeks. I will return to work in between with both stays shorter than 30 days.

 

With the current clamp down I am wondering whether children are still specifically excluded from overstay fines.
