BANGKOK: -- Let’s start this by saying: We have no idea why Sek Loso ever got a “Grateful Child” award.

That said, an accolade recently given to the rocker for being a dutiful mama’s boy may be taken away by the National Council on Social Welfare due to his recent domestic violence scandal.

An online activist group called "Online Community to Serve the Country" said it will petition the organization Thursday to revoke the 40-year-old’s “Grateful Child” award received last month on Mother’s Day, as they feel he’s unworthy of it.

The honor is meant to recognize those who "assist their mother’s daily tasks, obey their mother, uphold morals and virtues, benefit the society and behave in a way that the society accepts,” according to the organization’s criteria.

'behave in a way that the society accepts"

this award should be called "best conformist" lol

and about Sek Loso - for my opinion he just bought to show off in front of people, who are important for him.

Sad that such an award can be easily bought in Thailand. Seems like organizers don't realize how just one incident like this can turn this award into a profanity. This is what people call reputation.
