Samsung screen replaceable?

Not sure if this problem is recurring but if it is try turning the phone off, removing the battery, removing the SIM, reinstall the SIM, battery and re-start.

If the problem persists, try a factory reset.

Could be a glitch in the proximity detector, but not enough detail provided to even remotely hazard a guess.

What model?

Has anything changed recently? Dropped the phone, added new software, did a system update, etc?

Screens and digitizers can be replaced, wither with OEM parts or lower-cost alternatives, but repair costs might be 75% of the current value.
