kdev
Hi, anybody have a recommendation as to where one could get a colonoscopy, if required, on Koh Samui. I have travel insurance and hopefully that would cover the cost if expensive, assuming company willing to deal with hospital. Ken

evadgib
I'm not sure about Samui but a friend recently did it @ Taksin Hospital in Surratthani & speaks highly of their service. HTH
Mole
If you have insurance, definitely contact Bangkok Hospital about this. Make sure you check that your insurance really will cover this.
finet
Go to Thaksin Hospital in Suratthani. Doctors are excellent, phone before to make an apppointment. That is where I went after enquiring on Samui at the only Private Hospital that does this and was not happy with there information. You will have to stay in the hospital for one night.
Gatorade
Bangkok Samui hospital will carry out the Check. Excellent service. You will need to take medication the day before the appointment. And a GA will be required. Allow for a morning start to finish. The cost is around 45-50K Baht. You might be able to combine it with a total health care check package. Rooo
I had an endoscopy done. Thai Inter couldn't do it, so they suggested Bangkok, when the head nurse got the price she was shocked. She called Thaksin & made an appointment for me. Bankgok ; B 30K +. results send to BKK for analysis. Thakson : quoted around 4,500 . Actual cost . seeing 2 doctors medicine all up as quoted , 4,480 Baht. This is just an example, OP might find that cost because of insurance is no problem.
