Somewhere that is within an hours distance from girlbars / restaurants./ shoppingAlso how much do Grand Piano's, new or used cost in Thailand? Piano - shop on Sukkumvit near the Philippines Consulate not far from Emporium shopping centre. Has large range of new and used, and some for rent. eldragon Posted October 25, 2014 Share Posted October 25, 2014 Believe it or not, Udon Thani is pretty nice. A lot of nice girls up there, despite the reputation. I thought Chiang Rai was kinda boring. Chiang Mai is still nice, but getting overloaded with tourists. Kanchanaburi is the place though. 2 hours from BKK. Quiet, but enough going on. Scenic too. The air is very clear, except when all the neighbours light their fires. 2. It's very quite, except when all the soi dogs start barking and howling.(Usually all day and night) 3. Plenty of pretty girls around, the only thing you will be forced to get married to one otherwise the relatives will hang you by the balls. 4. Very tropical looking.......nobody cleans his empty land so you can't even step in there. 5. We have a river near us, called the "She" river, the water is nice and brown. 6. We have a lake also.....you can go swimming if you don't mind be covered with leaches. Did I forget anything? Ahhh the grand piano.......you can rent one but be careful when you bring it here the villagers will think it's the doomsday machine.
