Quiet Place To Live in Thailand While Studying?

Hi,

I can afford to spend around $2-4k per month to live off of and what I am seeking in particular, is to live in a beautifully scenic and very quiet place, while I can play grand piano and attend school that provides ED Visa. Somewhere that is within an hours distance from girlbars / restaurants./ shopping

Also how much do Grand Piano's, new or used cost in Thailand?

Believe it or not, Udon Thani is pretty nice. A lot of nice girls up there, despite the reputation. I thought Chiang Rai was kinda boring. Chiang Mai is still nice, but getting overloaded with tourists. Kanchanaburi is the place though. 2 hours from BKK. Quiet, but enough going on. Scenic too.
