Madeleine McCann: British police to observe questioning in Portugal

(BBC) British police investigating Madeleine McCann's disappearance in 2007 have arrived in Portugal to observe the questioning of 11 people.

BBC correspondent Christian Fraser said it was the biggest number called in for questioning since the Met's Operation Grange began.

Police from the UK force have been assisting with the case since 2011.

Among those to be interviewed - although not as suspects - are Robert Murat and his wife.

Three-year-old Madeleine went missing from the Algarve resort of Praia da Luz in May 2007.

It's just become a jaunt for the Metropolitan Police. They go over on holiday on generous daily expenses and every time interest wanes they suddenly discover new suspects.

parents did it, accidental or not, face came to play, the lie got so big they did not see another way than to continue this scam

Another fine example of a TV sleuth at work!

An reasoned and well thought out summation of what "really" happened, how can anyone argue?
