5 year multiple entry DTV visa (Destination Thailand) from 2024-xx-xx
There was a picture of an announcement by the consulate in Phnom Penh in a previous post of @Tim K (see below). From October 8, they will start processing visas through the e-visa platform. I know for a fact that the same is true for Ankara, starting on the very same day. It looks like all (or almost all) consulates will now be connected to the e-visa system. I wonder how this will affect people who want to apply for a visa at one of the consulates that were previously known to be somewhat lenient when it comes to the residency requirement (being a citizen or a resident of the country(ies) in which the consulate operates). -

It was Thanachart that merged with TMB. I had a Thanachart account so I was affected by the merger. Kasikorn used to be called Thai Farmers Bank. Maybe the poster got confused by the name change of one bank and the merger of two different banks. -
