prk888
a friend has asked me this question. Not too many personal to be moved effects but certainly too big for a pick-up. Any suggestions? Thanks
petercool
When I moved here from Bangkok I hired TWO pick ups ..... that might do the job
MTH
Last time I moved, about 8 years ago, I contacted Index as most of our furniture at the time were purchased there. They sent out two guys to check what we needed moved and gave us a very fair estimate. They then came with their own vehicle and a couple of guys who disassembled the furniture, moved it and reassembled it in our new house. They even moved a few other pieces not bought there, such as sofa, refrigerator, washing machine and maybe a few other things that I can’t recollect at the moment. Personal effects we moved ourselves with a pickup truck. Otherwise, there are a few treads here in the forum on trucks with driver for hire parked along northbound Sukhumvit, around Tesco Lotus. Seem them before, haven’t paid attention lately, but assume they’re still there.
craigt3365
You'll see 6 wheel trucks parked somewhere around Tesco and Big C on Sukhumvit. They tend to be just before Big C as you drive north. There will be a sign with a number to call if you want to hire them. I like the idea about Index!
