Mr. H...this is not an easy question to answer as it also involves what camera body

one uses for "streets". Both lenses you list tell me you use a Nik FF camera body.

That's good...I use them too...however...I like my 17-35 @ 2.8 the best or the

el-cheapo 18-55 @ 3.5-5.6 for streets if using my D7K. Then again there's also

my 70-200 @ 2.8 for stand off sniping using either FF or DX. Plus the 24-70

@2.8 is a great choice too in either FF or DX. But do I feel like humping a full body

camera all day? That's another story altogether. Mind you I used to do streets with a

Hasselblad 500C or ELM at one time in my life...I was younger back then.

If I use one of my Leica's there's always my 28 @ 2.0 Asph or my 35 @ 1.4 Non

FE. Plus other lenses I have and it all depends on what I may wish to capture

on a particular day or time of that particular day. My 50 @ 1.0 is a good all

rounder too....just depends on me in the end & if I wanna use a Leica on the

day.

If I can pry my XPro-1 outta me missus hands I will use one of my Leica lenses

or either Fuji's 23 @ 1.4 or their 56 @ 1.2. Fuji's M mount adaptor is excellent

btw.

If I have my little Canon G16 with me when a scene presents itself I use

its "step zoom" option which, when using the front wheel said wheel will

cycle from 28mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm, 100mm & 140mm (maxed out)

with each "click" (kinda dent actually) of the wheel. After 140mm the next

ident is back at 28mm. The IQ of the G16 is excellent btw. I bought the

thing because nobody had Fuji's X20 or X30 and I really like the "step

zoom"...main reason I bought it too as I detest the levered zoom on most

PnS cameras.

Lastly there's always my SGS3 with Camera FV5 software on it and this

combo works ok for a smartphone camera if that's all one has when a

scene/shot presents itself.

That last bit stated...I see quite a lot of scenes/shots and usually let them

go by. Not for lack of kit around my neck...more for lack doing the deed

& just letting the scene unfold before me peepers and enjoing the visuals

and interacting with the particiapnts in the visuals and the cursory waves,

Sawasdee's & Sabai's and perhaps a cold bevie or coffee when the scene

or potential shot is done. I live in a small town...most folks know the

"Tai Loop" (me) and usually it's more fun without a camera than it is with

one. I whip out a camera...they whip out a peace sign...I'm tired of peace

signs!
