In the US people are innocent until proven guilty. In Thailand, just the opposite guilty until they can prove innocent. Little backwards. Also in Thailand, which by the way holds the world record for number of military coups, the military does what they want with total impunity.

Headlines today shows that mindset when the black junta said Ying cant eat noodles without them allowing it....

Do you people really believe that the Shins are the reason Thais government is so jacked up? Oh how soon you forget all the other military coups to overthrow all the governments before. This history started MANY years before the Shins were even born.

She has not been charged formally yet correct? If that is true then yes depending on situation a person can do whatever they want.

For those who believe the General is not privy to information unavailable to the average TVF poster on the very real possibility of yet another Shinawatra fleeing the country, they are seriously deluded.

Good point since the surveillance didn't start until a few days ago. Perhaps he knows more about her plans than he can say and perhaps this was why they searched her entourage the other say. They may be intercepting her communications to big brother to keep tabs on her plans.

Indeed it's a credible scenario on many counts.
