rtco
So it was Songkran that is going to attract all those extra tourists rather than the lifting of Martial Law???
Suradit69
Wasn't it 3 million foreigners last week and 2.5 million where from china alone? "Tourists" and "foreigners" are not synonyms and being Chinese doesn't disqualify someone from being classified as a tourist. The daily announcement from the Ministry of Propaganda................... Except the numbers are different from the announcement yesterday!! Gets just a little boring!! Apparently boring announcement generate boring comments, but given the thread title, there' a fairly obvious trick to avoid reading the O/P rather than rushing to be the post one to post a comment. phoenixdoglover
2.5 million tourists Generate 14.5 billion baht in "income" Over the period of 11 to 19 April Let's pull out the calculator. That's 644 baht per person, per day. One super soaker Three happy water shirts One cheap umbrella Five cases of beer And money left over for street food. Let the good times roll!
