hi all

i left thailand to attend a company training course in singapore , i have a non imm B visa which i have only had for a few months when i flew back into thailand i got a stamp in my passport with arrived 25th march & admitted until the 7 th dec ( which is the date my visa expires) , i previously had a non imm O visa which was always stamped only for 90 days at a time

is this new or is this correct as i am sure i would need to report every 90 days & would need to do so before 90 days from the 25th of march

ps it is a multi entry B visa

cheers for any info

Yes you have to do 90 days reporting. It started again from you airport arrival, so you need to do it before about June 25th.

7th December is still JUST the date the one year extension ends.

I presume you reported to immigration after/when picking up your visa extension stamp and the airport covered you for the first 90 days.

You have been stamped in error, each non-imm 'B' entry is 90 days, be careful and leave before that, as Immigration will not allow their mistake to be in your favor.

It's over 6 years since I did my first one so I'm not too up to date on it, but if you mean they stamped a visa for 3 months, did they do this while you were applying for it to cover you and the next 9 months was to make it up to a year from your first application date ?

Or do you mean the stamp was for your first 90 days report ?

The OP has a multiple entry non-b visa obtained at an embassy or consulate. He only gets 90 day entries.

You apparently are thinking of a one year extension of stay based upon working obtained at immigration.
