webfact
Russia will give adequate response if Ukraine joins NATO - lower house speakerMOSCOW, June 1. /TASS/. Russia will provide an adequate response if a decision is taken on Ukraine’s joining NATO, the speaker of Russia’s lower house of parliament, the State Duma, Sergei Naryshkin said in an interview for TASS special project Top Officials. In reply to a question if there is a chance that at the national referendum on Ukraine’s joining NATO the answer will be "yes," Naryshkin said: "I can imagine a situation in which the results of the plebiscite may be presented in this way."In this case, the North Atlantic Alliance will then come to Russia’s doorstep and this "will weigh upon the conscience of those who in February 2014 triggered the coup that overthrew the legal government of President Viktor Yanukovich," he added."Russia will respond to such actions as yet another step towards worsening relations, and we will not leave it unanswered," Naryshkin said, adding: "At least we have no intention of joining NATO."Full story: http://tass.ru/en/russia/797860-- TASS 2015-06-

Wat dee
Again a good example why we should not interfere with other countries affairs. And I'm talking about the root of it, the time before russian invasion.
Ulic
Europe can't be so stupid as to even consider membership in NATO for Ukraine, can they ? European Union-European-trading partnership, yes. NATO membership, just poking the bear in the eye with a sharp stick. Expect the tanks to roll across the boarder minutes later. Can people be that stupid. lovetotravel
Again a good example why we should not interfere with other countries affairs. And I'm talking about the root of it, the time before russian invasion. Spot on. Back to the time before Russia's proxy was in power and raping and pillaging the country and doing their bidding. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viktor_Yanukovych#Reports_of_corruption_and_cronyism That's what started all this nonsense after all. Corrupt politicians. Just like here.

phycokiller
why war mongering, who is benefitting from that ? oil price increase ? for one thing theres a lot of weapons factories around the world, especially the US and other big countries, and you cant keep the factories going if you dont have wars somewhere, remote locations are best, places like the afgan mountains or the jungles of laos are great places to drop large amounts of bombs without causing too many problems and keep the money flowing
retarius
I was under the impression that if a country was in a conflict, it was ineligible to join NATO. This was cited as a reason why Putin supposedly wanted to keep the Donbass as an active conflict instead of seeking peace. Guess you can't trust the news. SinCityGr8One
why war mongering, who is benefitting from that ? oil price increase ? Forget the oil price increase. Yes, the price will increase, because only 50 Families control the Global Oil Trade. Rothschild = Royal Dutch Shell, Rockefeller's = ExxonMobil, et al. Wars primarily benefits the Multinational Bankster. All Wars need to be financed. The Bankster has the money available. They will lend it to BOTH sides. War after all is a, "Booming Business". Also controlled Arms manufacturers ditto. Politicians ditto. Tin Pot dictators ditto. If there is a buck or baht to be made they are there salivating. Because Russia eventually wants to invade the Ukraine and absorb it. If Ukraine joins NATO, it will be harder to achieve. Not rocket science, is it? Hmm you don't start moving Tanks, APCs and support vehicles for fun, and why isignia removed from them? Gremlin at work again...

micmichd
Yes, I remember the Meadows report (Limits to Growth) Some Western European countries are severely overpopulated and still want growth. They should be stopped. Edited June 2, 2015 by micmichd
