hi all

has anyone actually bought 10 - 12 cm wallpaper boaders in thailand? I have been searching the last couple of months all over pattaya, but have been unsuccessful... i would like to know of a place that someone has actually bought this kind of item from please... i dont want o hear that maybe big c has.... please,, if not in the pattaya area, an online retailer would be fine,, and i.ll go as far as to ask for Bkk places,,, when i try to ask for this in the local homepro / works kind of places i just get the bblank stare back that we all know....

I would have thought if you had a bit of time to wait you could order from the UK where they were once popular ( about 20 years ago) I know I used to hang them.

I have bought decorative borders from Homeworks and Homepro - they are in the section for decorative stickers to put on windows coffee1.gif

You need to ask the shop assistants for borDERRRR , (as in compuDERRRRR or w**kERRRRRR cheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gif )

But the widest size that I've seen is about 8cm x 3m lengths. They work out rather expensive if you need to border a whole room. Also, you need to apply your own wallpaper paste to the back of the border, because the adhesive that is already applied seems not to work in Thailand, (Thai walls are different from all other walls in the world...)
