Nakhon Sawan To Pattaya

Featured Replies

I will be travelling from Nakhon Sawan to Pattaya on a Tuesday in late October 06 and wonder if some kind soul could guide me as to the best way to make this journey please.

I would rather not drive myself.

TIA

The best way to travel in Thailand is by mini-bus with driver but this may be a bit expensive for a one off trip and paying just yourself. A couple of years ago a taxi from Nakhon Sawan to Pattaya would cost you about 3000 baht. I doubt if you are going to find a mini-bus or taxi in Nakhon Sawan. Try the Pattaya forum where someone may give you telephone numbers for taxis/mini-buses.

I could suggest PP Travel in Pattaya but I haven't got there telephone number to hand at the moment.

The Minibus is one option of few ....and there is Minibus here to rent in Nakhon Sawan.

Another option , opposite Pimarn Hotel take the Bus and go to Mor Chit (bkk) and than another Bus from Mor Chit to Pattaya.

Not sure of the Train Connection but this can be a problem with the current weather conditions....however it still is worth considering it if the weather is less"floody".

I have done the Minibus trip to BKK but am not really keen on those small Buses. I did the trip with the Bus from Nakhon Sawan - Mor Chit and Mor chit- Pattaya which wasn't too bad .

If you have friends here with a decent Car...maybe they can drive you down?

You may even hire some of the People with their own Car here....of course this is one of the "expensive" option.

hope that helps,

rcm :o

Thanks for the information.

Looks like a bus to Mor Chit then onto Pattaya.

I must admit it will all be part of the fun of the holiday especially as I drive everywhere here in the U.K.

Might as well be different on holiday :o

tk47 you are asked for the best way to travel to Pattaya. I gave you the best way and I would certainly not consider travelling by bus the best way. :D

However if you intend to travel by bus then look for the VIP bus in Nakhon Sawan, ignore the ticket touts they will say anything for you to go with their company. At Mor Chit again try for the VIP bus service. :o

Ok Chris.... Thanks for that. It is never easy to decide on a route or method of travel or to make a decision on a topic from one or two posts when it is a different country. To post a topic and read the comments does help.

When I am in Nakhon Sawan I will look into it more.

I do appreciate the comments and posts here in the forums.

When I get to Thailand and am writing up my Blogs my trials and tribulations will be in there.
