Ever Hear of a Thomson Dryer?

Featured Replies

I just bought this used dryer quite cheaply. It was only 1500 baht and seems to work well, although there is a little bearing noise maybe. The woman I bought it from said it came with her condo when she bought it 10 years ago or so.

Anybody ever hear of this brand in Thailand? There is a sticker in Thai on the back but I think it's a warning label. Googling doesn't do me any good.

Any suggestions for washer/dryer repair service companies if I need it?

Thanks!

Originally a French white goods manufacturer. Maybe made under license in Thailand? Plenty options for manuals with a simple Thomson dryer google search but you will need the model number. What's that top right? A model number or just some marks? Maybe try pot-luck with google image search for Thomson dryer?

The top right just says 6kg. Unfortunately no model number on it that I can find. I'll have to get a Thai friend to check the sticker on the back.

Now theirs your problem, its French.

Nothing wrong with French they have led in car design in may ways from the dear old 2CV onward.

Are you aware the Citroen logo is a double-meshing gear system they invented?

On top of that I got a French wet and dry out of a dumpster about 20 years ago.

Still going strong.

Concorde only failed after decades for a subsidiary reason wasn't it the tyre disintegrating?
