NRSA to reconvene this Monday with meeting regulations being top agenda

BANGKOK, 31 October 2015 (NNT) – The National Reform Steering Assembly (NRSA) is scheduled to meet on Monday to review a set of meeting regulations before passing it the same day.

The speaker of the NRSA, Capt Tinnapan Nakata, has issued a mandate calling for a plenary session on Monday during which members the NRSA will go over the assembly’s meeting regulations. These regulations are expected to be approved on the same day, said Capt Tinnapan.

In addition, Monday’s sitting will table a number of reform agendas comprising political reform, education reform, and media reform.

Another sitting will be held on the following day (Tuesday), said Capt Tinnapan.

During the two-day sitting, procedures to reform in 11 aspects according to Section 27 of the provisional constitution will be proposed.

Assembly members who wish to join the debate are required to submit their requests and agendas ahead of the meeting which will kick off at 9.30 am.
