Visa run newbie questions and the current situation

Hi, I have only done one border run before, as i only ever stay for the 30 days period previously

I came to thailand as a tourist for the 30 visit stay (im from Australia).

I did a same day border run to Kuala Lumpur after about 23 days.

Can i do another border run by plane and get back in with another 30 days? that would be 2 back to back.

Is a same day out / in ok? or should i stay out longer, if so how long?

You can but you have to keep in mind that you have a maximum of 6 visa exempts allowed per 12 months.

And some have been refused at 5.

Why don't you just get a 30 day extension at an Immigration office in Thailand?

ah ok, this sounds good, but i thought i heard it can only be done on original first 30 day period.

A 30 day extension can be applied to any 30 day visa exemption 1900 baht at immigration.
