Pink Mist
St Kilda should'nt have one that game, the goal umpire got it wrong, he awarded a point when it was out on the full. Now they are talking about 2 goal umpires, they will have more mpires than players soon. port scum bags played Glenelg at home last Saturday and we lost. I cant go to the games with the warfies cause I normally end up in a fight, did last year and missus wasn't too happy, so I have barred myself. Dockers will take the top of the ladder for the first time in their history... ...and that's coming from someone who is not a dockers fan. you won't be far off the mark there SVB, they just lost their captain and one other key player at the tribunal last night and the dockers are in form or the popular vernacular this year "the real deal". 350, all the channels now cover AFL and even pay TV has bought into it. Pink Mist
Sam got very embarrassed last year on the footy show when Shane Crawford down trousered him and exposed the old fella on national telly. From all reports it was a weener and sammy said he wasn't prepared thats why it was so small. I dont know how he prepares for that but I have allways thought he is a ###### and maybe thats what he meant

350torana
Sorry Bronco, seems u are the man who has the link to footy news back home. Are Hawthorn still playing games in Tassie. Been years of talk of them/ or St Kilda relocating to the apple isle . Regarding Sam Newman , has he ever been to the LOS ? If so, talk about a pisshead in a brewery, scary thought
Pink Mist
If sam ever came over to LOS and carried on like he does here someone would kill him. I dont think the saints or hawthorn will move anywhere in the near future. The thing that is interesting is how many times Collingwood travel out of Victoria (2 or 3 times) compared to any other Vic based team. Pretty much the same amount as last year, is there anything fishy there, does eddy everything have anything to do with it?
the gentleman
I miss the footy show and even Sam, loved to hate him - but without him we are left with captain collingwood and he is just a warfy supporter. I remember when ? (retired Hawthorn full forward ?), grabbed Sam on air, tied him up and shaved his head - now thats great Aussie TV
Pink Mist
and the time he insuted who was it, cant remember, but the guy clipped him and old sammy was left shaking like a mungrel gog who just got whopped. and then there was the time his girlfriend ran over and broke his leg and there was the time when a plumber turned up at sammies place, he opens the door and pow right in the kisser broken snoz and the list goes on
Nat
there was the time his girlfriend ran over and broke his leg I remember that , they had a live broadcast from his bedroom and all he was wearing was a t-shirt and boxers grrrrr . He is a great dancer though, had the pleasure of hitting the dance floor with him at a new year’s party at the casino as Rod Stewart, next to us, sang “Do ya think I’m sexy” Personally think Eddie is worse, he’s got his finger in every pot and is a bigger sleaze than Sam. A few years ago I was listening to the radio and Jacko asked Eddie if he’d recently bought some shares in oil companies. Unknowingly Eddie responded “No, why?” to which Jacko replied “Cause you’re the biggest greaser I’ve ever met”. They quickly went to an ad
350torana
Retired Hawks full forward , I remebember the incident on the footy show. Also remeber a Melbourne forward getting a cream pie in his face that went down like a bag of shit. Talking of forwards, wwish could have a timemachine to go back ten years(or further) to the Dunstalls , Lockets, Abletts, Sumichs instead of all this chip, chip crap. KICK IT LONG!!!!!! Pink Mist
He is called eddy everything over here, not many croweaters like him. The thing that annoys me, besides being extremely biased against SA teams and any team that plays collywobbles, he isnt a very good commentator and his football knowledge is sadly lacking. He was calling a game 2 weeks ago Crows and Tigers, 12 minutes into 1st 1/4 and the Crows are ahead 12 to zip, Tigers get a goal and eddy in an emotional voice says " it's not over yet ". 12call
Now here's a great Irish Man !!!!!! Jim Stynes Born in Dublin, Stynes was brought from Ireland to Australia as part of a Ron Barrassi inspired experiment in the mid 1980’s to recruit Irish footballers for the Melbourne Football Club. Stynes played his first senior game in 1987 and retired 264 games later at the end on 1998. He has been described as “Australia’s most successful sporting experiment.” His football honours include winning the 1991 Brownlow medal; Melbourne Football Club Best and Fairest in 1991, 1995, 1996 & 1997 equalling the club record. His most extraordinary performance was to play an AFL record breaking 244 consecutive games between round 17 in 1987 and round 4 in 1998 when his hand was broken.
