rolleyes.gif Regarding the topic about German Air Force planes now flying over Syria and Iraq in a non-combat role.

Try to remember that Germany is part of NATO, and they have been flying with a NATO mission for years.

In fact when I was a civilian technician working in Souda Bay Greece (Crete) prior to 2010 I regularly saw German aircraft with German Air Force markings and German crews flying non-combat electronic surveillance missions over the then Libyan battlefield from Souda Bay, Crete.

Technically they were not called German planes however, instead for Political reasons, they were called NATO planes.
