cigar7
Did the 90 report for a retirement visa in person at Jomtien. In at 10:20 out at 10:40. Presented passport and TM47, received back a printed receipt with a bar code. Overstay officer also examined the passport page by page. No cost. wpcoe
In at 1020, out at 1040, and yet posted about it at 0923? FWIW, next time you shouldn't even need the TM.47. At Jomtien Immigrations, once you are in the computer as a 90-day reporter, you don't need the paper form again. If you want to "test" it, complete the form, but don't present it and see if they process you even more quickly.
Langsuan Man
Yes, it used to be in and out quickly but since they eliminated the "queue" ticket machines, if there is only one person at the desk you can wait a while just to get a ticket Also noted that they now only have one IO handling the 90 day reports and he sits right next to the dedicated "overstay" officer You still need the TM 47 if you don't have the bar code from your previous 90 day report , so you have to make sure you secure it when leaving Thailand because you can almost guarantee the IO at the Immigration booth will remove it when you come back
