RANONG, 22 January 2016, (NNT) - Deputy Ranong provincial governor Thongchai Charoenpanitkul chaired a meeting of government officials to set boundaries for coastal fishery under Article 5 of the Fisheries Act 2015.

The meeting agreed to extend Ranong's coastal area for fishing industry to five nautical miles, or approximately nine kilometers from shore while the fishing boundary around the province's islands covers 1.6 nautical miles or about three kilometers from shore.

Such boundary limits will be submitted for further consideration by the authorities before it is stipulated in the law and becomes effective.

Implementing laws and boundaries is so easy. Good for face boys/girls, shine up your gold.
