Chinese security chief at Kandal factory investigated for rape

A 37-year-old Chinese security chief at Meng Yan factory, who authorities have identified as Xie Shaoxuan, was arrested on Monday for allegedly raping a 19-year-old woman on Sunday in Kandal’s Sa’ang district, according to police.

A second man, a 37-year-old Cambodian security chief, You Sopheak, was also arrested for his involvement in the alleged rape.

According to Seng Socheat, Sa’ang district police chief, Sopheak called the woman into a room where Shaoxuan was waiting and told the victim that the Chinese national loved her and wanted to have sex with her.
