BANGKOK — Thailand will soon have not just its first female police superintendent, but three.

The announcement Tuesday that three women will take over three police stations in the capital is intended to change the long-standing image of the police force as a male-dominated institution, said acting Bangkok Metropolitan Police commander Sanit Mahathavorn, who personally handpicked the women for the jobs.

Well, they can't be any worse.

But the big problem is corruption. Doesn't matter if it's males or females stealing.

A former female Head of Immigration on Phuket tried to sting me 4k for a late (their fault) 90 day OS. So yes, they can be as bad, if not worse. Just look at Snatcher and $hillary .. coffee1.gif

Congrats to these women, I'm sure they'll make their families proud. Being a police officer is harder than TV readers think and these ladies worked hard to get where they are.

Be nice people, not all cops are corrupt, but when you're in an accident or caught with possession you'll wish they were. ;)
