The report explained farm production in the country has fallen behind demand and driven up prices of farm goods. The office noted the situation poses opportunities for both Thai farmers and manufacturers of machinery; emphasizing Thailand is especially poised to satisfy demand in Cambodia due to its proximity. It urged Thai producers make the most of this opportunity. The report also mentioned that Cambodia’s improving economy has increased the spending power of its citizens and led to a growing need for health products and organic produce.-- NNT 2016-06-

bangkokfrog
I would think that the way many Thai people (especially the government and "HI-so") treat and look down on our neighbours from Cambodia, this would be the last country they would want to buy food from.
