Friend departed Lamai Perfect today, was quite pleased with week stay @ B800/night (2 persons)

Or you could try Aumpai Luxury, same area/price but back a bit from the road. aumpailuxury-samui.com/

Am Samui is affordable, clean and decent. There's plenty and it depends on your budget and preferences with regards to facilities, etc.

I prefer Lamai Wanta…on the beach…..clean, minimalist and reasonably priced.
