Hi all

I have a Non Immigrant O valid for 1 year. I am married to a Thai. I have been i Thailand for 2 month and have to do a visa run within 1 month. Is it enough to get a new entry stamp for instance in Pedang Besar, or do I have to go Embassy in Penang in order to get another 3 month stay.

Pls also if possible inform the rules regarding extension of Visa. 400 K bankaccount or 40 K a month

salary needed. I am 48 years old. No children in Thailand.

Thank's in advance

Any trip exit/entry/exit/entry will do for the new 90 day stamp. There is no visa required for Malaysia so you just exit Thailand, enter Malaysia and when ready exit Malaysia and enter Thailand.

The requirement, until you qualify for retirement at age 50, would be family income of 40k per month (400k bank deposit is no longer an option for new applicants). This can be your income, spouse income or a combination. Total yearly cost is 1,900 baht for TM.7 application but will require address reports every 90 days and if you travel a re entry permit prior to travel. You should apply for extensions of stay with between 30 and 15 days remaining on a 90 day stay stamp.
