Russian man, 52, found dead in Phuket hotel room

PHUKET: Police are currently investigating the death of a Russian man who was found dead in a hotel room in Karon yesterday afternoon (Sept 25).

 

Capt Nipon Themsang of the Karon Police was notified at 3pm yesterday that a Russian tourist had been found dead in a room at the Karona Resort and Spa. The body was discovered by a hotel maid police were told.

 

The body, that of a 52-year-old Russian national (name withheld until his family have been notified), was found lying face down on the bed. Police said there were several empty water bottles near the bed.

Not sure why police should mention that there were several empty water bottles near the bed.  Maybe he had a bad fever ? At least it's very different from the usual many empty booze bottles and medicine.

...to ignore the fact that ANYONE could have placed the bottles....even have cleaned up the room....

 

....is idiotic....

 

...and a disservice to the victim...his family...and all of humanity....

 

***....these uninvestigated deaths should all be considered as crimes against humanity....
