Possible to get a police certificate in Pattaya?

Hi,

 

I am from Europe and I have a job offer in Vietnam and the employer wants a police clearance certificate.

 

I know some other colleagues that worked in Vietnam submitted the police cert. from the country they recently lived.

 

I ve been here in Pattaya legally for 1 year. Can I obtain a police clearance cert from Pattaya Police or do I need to go to Bangkok?/ does any agency offer this type of service?

You can get one from your home country but if you want one from Thailand it may specifiy that it only goes back a year and these are obtained form Bangkok police headquarters in Patumwan.  I seem to remember that there is a Government web site that sets out what is required so you might Google the topic.

^^ It is a Certificate that you have not committed any crimes in the relevant country issuing it.
