One can sometimes also see a votive tablet stand, usually in wood, with niches for rows of multiple Buddha images. Has anyone any idea what the latter are called in Thai or Northern Thai? rebo Posted November 8, 2016 Share Posted November 8, 2016 (edited) In case you mean something like this (very often in red and golden colours): You'll find it even in DIY malls like DoHome but in any case in Ban Thawai. The one on the pic I made by myself. The second pic I found googling for Thai Buddhist altar; these are the most common ones you find mostly in the shops.
