PM’s Office Minister Suvit Maesincee

PM’S OFFICE MINISTER UNVEILS AMBITIOUS PLATFORM OF ECONOMIC, POLITICAL GOALS BUT EDUCATION NOT KEY PART OF STATED AGENDA

BANGKOK: -- WHILE the government says the Thailand 4.0 national development blueprint will form an integral part of ongoing national reconciliation and reform efforts that aim to reshape the country over the next 20 years, according the PM’s Office, but many sectors – notably education – do not appear to be keeping pace.

Thailand 4.0 has been detailed in multiple facets, with the education element of the policy meant to focus on digital literacy and innovation based on a new stage of scientific development.

However, most students appear to be stuck in the outdated era of 1.2, and the most common way for them to learn is through Internet searches.

Lets be fair their only real legacy will be whitewashing (Rajabhakdi park, Hawaiigate et al), Inability to rein in the monkhood, unprecedented road death levels, attitude adjustment sessions, and general repression of the population at the expense of any real noticeable development on a national level.

Anyone else at a loss to comprehend this 4.0 thing?

Did they just pull that out of some dark place, or have they been following a pattern of perceived upgrades. For example when was 3.0 or 2.0? Was 1.0 when they changed the name from Siam?

With all the coups and interrupted governments, surely they are on to Thailand 22.4 by now.

Exactly. When was Thailand 1,2 and 3? Do they think they are Microsoft Windows or some other software? What a bunch of comedians.

1.0 was the original, v 4.0 is the next number, once they realise 2 and 3 were missed because they had no one who could count, after 4.0 will come 2.0, then 7.0, then 3.0, then 5.0.

You are obviously not a produce of the Thai education system otherwise you would find this complicated maths understandable.
