90-day reporting -- pls quickly confirm

Featured Replies

I hold a US passport, have a multiple entry one-year retirement visa. I re-entered on Dec. 2, so due for 90-day reporting around today or so. Can someone with recent experience pls confirm:

-- grace period of 7 days after expiry of 90 days is still valid.

-- I can do only at Chaeng Watana, and can do it after they come back from lunch at 1 pm. I tried online with URL from this forum, page would not load.

-- Need only the Tm 47, no need photocopies of passport, etc.

Any tips welcome.

Thank you.

Your report was due yesterday. You can do it up to 7 days late that includes the report date.

The last day you can do the report is the 7th without being fined.

You will only need a TM47 form.

Online reporting has been down since December due the immigration's extranet being taken down.

You can also do your 90 day reports at the offices at Imperial World Ladprao or Big C Ratburana road. Those offices open at 10:30.

Thank you for your quick and very helpful reply.

From what I read, I understood that Imperial World Ladprao only serviced workers, and from the CMLV countries? You've had reports of people like me doing 90-day reporting there recently?

Immigration has allowed 90 day reporting at Imperial World by everybody since January of of 2014. Many reports of people doing them there.

From Bangkok immigration website. http://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/base.php

Quote

From 2nd January, 2014, all foreigners residing in Bangkok will be able to provide their 90 days notification of residence at 2 additional offices, which are Immigration Service Center for 3 national Legalized Labors, Major Hollywood Suksawat  Big C Ratburana and Imperial World Ladprao.

I will have to do my very first 90 day reporting this month, I am on an extension of stay from Non Imm B visa (reason for extension; 'work').

What will be required when doing the first 90 day reporting in my case?

What will I have to bring with me to show?

I will most likely do it at Imperial World Lad Prao.

Many thanks.

Thanks!

As it is my first time and to make sure it complete the form correctly:

I see that I have to fill in date of entry and arrival card number.

1) I actually entered on 5 Oct 2016 on sngle entry Non Imm B visa.

I then went to apply for extension in December, and was given a consideration stamp

that is dated 28 Dec 2016. At this time they also already stapled a NOTICE card in my passport

about 90 day reporting. This card is also date-stamped 28 Dec 2016.

The extension was granted and stamped in my passport on 25 Jan 2017, with stay permitted until 2 Jan 2018.

That same NOTICE card is still in my passport and

says "Date of next notification 25 MARCH 2017"

and signed and date-stamped 28 Dec 2016 by IO.

So, what date do I fill in for "Entered Thailand on...." ? 5 Oct 2016 or 28 Dec 2016?

2) I do not have an Arrival Card, only Departure card.

Do I fill in the number of the Departure Card at Arrival Card?

Much appreciated!

You will use that date since that is when you entered the country.

The arrival card and the departure portion of it have the same number on it so that is the number you put on the form.

You can do your report up to 15 days before March 25th or 7 days after then including that day in the 7 days.

Thanks very much for clarifying Ubonjoe !

Good information for me as well. Thanks.

I went in today to the Suphanburi office with my passport and a completed TM47...no queue and I was outta there in 15 mins...but they did make copies of my PP ID page, extension of stay stamp and departure card for which they charged 20baht...

and I thought: 'a small price to pay, etc...'

I just did my 90-days report at Imperial World Ladprao on the 7th march 2017.In and out within 20 minutes. They have a counter special for 90-days reporting, so you will not be delayed by all the workers from CMLV countries.

I was also informed that they have now opened one more location for 90 days reporting at Big C Don Mueang 3rd floor, opposite Saphan Mai market, it has been opened since December 16th 2016.It all depends on which part of Bangkok you are located in.
