Phuket.net is a leading web portal for the island of Phuket. We are looking for a vibrant and energetic Digital Content Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate has excellent English, is passionate about creating engaging content and has strong organisational skills.

 

The Digital Content Manager will plan and publish regular blog and social media posts, proofread and edit content, and will be responsible for curating and publishing local events, restaurant and other business listings, and managing user-generated content.

 

Role

 

• Drive our content strategy and create a content schedule

• Create new and engaging content for the website and other digital channels

• Ensure existing content remains fresh and relevant

• Develop and manage relationships with content and business partners

• Manage and monitor social media channels

• Assist in the development of new website features and changes based on trends, usability testing, analytics and user feedback.

 

Requirements

 

• Excellent English language ability

• Excellent writing and editing skills

• An excellent understanding of web publishing as well as knowledge of SEO, web usability, and content marketing.

• Experience of writing and editing content for websites and social media, and of management of social media channels

• Experience of working with content management systems

• Team oriented with good organisational and time-management skills

• Excellent local knowledge of Phuket an advantage.
