mekhong river trip

I would love to do a mekhong river trip, say long khai to nakhon pranom, onto mukdahan, for example, stopping o"nite, motel accomodation, cleansing ales, sample local specialities, (food ) ha ha , 

Is there anyone that does this ? or would you have to try organise yourself ?

Mut Mee Guesthouse in Nong Khai used to send their boat on short trips as far as Phon Phisai during the Bang Fai Phiyanak festival, they may have some idea.

I think the mekong is unfortunately only navigable from nong kai to bueng kan not all the way to nakhon phanom.
